Munson Park

Bill and I went down to Monroe for the Munson Park Cyclo-Cross race. My typical route to the race site takes me along the river and by some beautiful old houses. I really like the looks of the area.

It was another really fun race... Only 12 guys started the elite race and I was 8th at the end. :-( Still I was fighting wheel to wheel for that spot the whole hour. I've told a few people that's what I like about cross. Seems like you always have someone to race with. You might be racing for 20th but it's still a fun battle.


Bill finished 2nd in the 35+ race. He lost touch with his group when he dropped his chain on the last lap. He bridged back just in time for the sprint finish...







I was once again the top finisher for guys racing their mt bikes.... That and $4 will get me a coffee at starbucks.
