X-rays are cool!

Picked up my most recent x-rays from the hospital yesterday. Dang whimpy collarbone. Tonight will be my 10th day in a row on the in trainer prison. Still figure I'll be able to ride outside again in about a week and a half.

7 days down 14 days to go?

Last time I broke my collarbone it was about 3 weeks on the trainer till I felt safe to start riding in the real world again. So I'm guessing and hoping that's gona be the same case this time. I have been putting in an hour a day on the trainer. Pretty much just spinning. Put my top fuel on the cycle-ops just so I can defend my low road bike ride status.

New XTR M970 Series

Maybe I have not given it a chance, but after 1200 miles of riding XTR Dual Control Levers I still say why? Rapid fire plus shifters just seem to work better to me. I wanted to make the switch to the new stuff, probably just cause it was the "cool new stuff". So I'm glad to see they are bringing RAPIDFIRE Plus Shift Levers back in 2007 in the M970 series. Thank you Shimano!
