The weather kids say we received about 7 inches of snow here today... That would typically result in a night of some serious bike wrestling, but through some strange meteorological phenomenon the snow packed down into endless miles of fresh white paving. Best ride ever!!!

I can't tell if you're joking. When I went out to ride on Thursday morning, the snow was totally unridable. Of course, I'm not you. One man's "endless miles of fresh white paving. Best ride ever!!" could be another's impossible slog.

I was being serious. Monday night the cars packed the 7 inches of snow into an inch of smooth white snow pavement. It was really cool.

I can envision it, but definitely did not experience it on Thursday. Of course, we had some additional accumulation by then.
